Damon Joseph

Our newest member has arrived! 37 weeks and 3 days of a long, exhausting pregnancy was totally worth it, because he is absolutely perfect, and is so loved already!

6lbs 5 oz and 20 inches long
8.5.14 @ 545pm

A super easy induction, with a little bit of a scare at the end, but he is perfectly healthy, and so so tiny.

Logan did AMAZING meeting him, and handled coming and going at the hospital so well. It made things ten times easier for me, knowing that he wash't off crying and missing me. I knew when I was pregnant, that he was going to be a good big brother, but this just confirms it. He has done so well, and I am so happy to have such a wonderful boy.

logan's 2nd birthday

One of the major things I missed sharing was Logan turning 2.. which I'm really disappointed in myself for not at least posting the pictures. It was a lot of fun, and I know there are probably a million things that happened that day that I would have loved to share, but can't remember now. I'm at least happy that I got a ton of pictures that I can share now, even if it has been a few months..

At the time, Logan was obsessed with the movie "How To Train Your Dragon" which meant that was the type of party we had to through. Let me tell you, it wasn't easy.. I tend to pick themes that aren't really popular.. Oh well, we managed to get by. Viking hats, and swords as the kids goody bags, a Toothless pinata (toothless is the dragon from the movie), some dragons around the house, and a big bouncy house was enough to satisfy our two-year-old.

Logan had us relight his candles at least 10 times.. guess he had a lot of wishes

this is Toothless

We kept the party pretty small, which made it much more laid back and enjoyable. We ended up getting to keep the bounce house for the whole weekend, which was probably Logan's favorite part of the entire weekend.. Hours and hours of jumping, and lots of memories.

happy birthday Jesse!

Yesterday, we spent our day partying it up for our friend Jesse's 2nd birthday! Lots of sliding, swimming, and acting like big kids!

I am so impressed by Jesse! This boy is 2 and swims like a pro!

This little girl, Lilly, is so adorable!! Loved playing with her, and hearing her say "this is so fun" constantly

Best Friends Forever!

I swear, Mike and Travis are THE biggest kids I know!

and of course I enjoyed seeing Ryker! He is such a little cutie!!

Thank you for having us Jesse! We always love hanging out with The Flowers Family!

the big four!

Sierra turned four today, and I can't believe it! Seems like yesterday, she was Logan's age, and I was watching her and Mike play in the front yard. Now, she's a big girl, and I feel old! I'm so lucky to have met Michelle, and really can't say how blessed me and my family are that they include us as if we are actually related. I love them so much!

(there was a lot of this from Logan^)

(there was some serious pinata hitting going on^)

(I cannot get over Ryker's chunky legs^)

(and a lot of confetti eggs^)

at the end of the day, these two cuddled up on my lap, and we all watched the hobbit. The party must have been pretty exhausting, because not only did Logan, and Sierra pass out on the couch, but Mike did too. No party like a four year old party!

a homeade birthday

let me just start by saying that I am horrible at surprises. So when I decided I was going to make everything for Logan's first birthday, and I actually began making the invites, it was extremely hard not to share them with people before they were done and sent out. With that being said, I have sent them out, and can't contain my excitement anymore!

We decided to go with a monster theme since it is so close to Halloween. There was nothing that satisfied me for a one-year-old party though in that theme.. and that is what made me decide to do it homemade. I am pretty happy with how they came out (although I am probably my worst critic).

I did a few different types of monsters, with the colors of the party (blue, green, yellow, red). I cannot wait to hand out the homemade party favors.. I am really having a hard time not sharing what those are. What I really love about this homemade party theme is that it was so cheap to do and that no one else will have a party exactly like it! I am all about being unique.

I know he won't remember the party personally, just what he sees in pictures (which there will be plenty of) but I couldn't help but go big.. I mean he only turns one once!

*the blank spots at the bottom aren't really blank.. I just didn't want to share the address of the party with everyone!
