let it rain

the other day, me and my friend let our boys play outside since the weather was nice.. and also because my son is so pushy about going out there. It got a little warm, so, we decided to make it rain!

oh, and here's a kiss for you^

turns out, Logan loves water.. maybe a little to much. He wouldn't really give David the chance to play. My kid is the bully in this friendship.. crap.

so, Logan got his own bucket, well wagon that is.

Didn't last long though.. that kid went through water so fast, and I seriously could not keep a bowl, or wagon full long enough to satisfy him.

yeah.. that's my child^

we clapped, and sat and let the boys dry out a little bit. Aren't they the cutest best friends?

Home!

and we have awesome news!!! Mike gave in and finally quit his out of town job, so he will be home all the time now! YAY!!! So excited that he won't miss Logan growing up, and he will be home with me every night. Also, the shop is picking back up, and big things are about to happen (watch out rival shops, its about to get crazy!)

Anyways, we definitely had a good time visiting granny and pops, and already miss them! We went ahead and visited Mike's grandma too which is always nice. Logan had a blast, and I'm glad we got the chance to visit her. We also saw uncle jacob and his girlfriend, and had some delicious deer meat.. (I NEED to have Mike bring some home this winter so I can make it.. it is sooo good).

'Til next time Louisiana!

a little stroll through the park

A friend I took our babies on an unplanned trip to Hermann Park in Houston the other day. I was hoping to get some pictures of LJ to show how much his grown since last month (that is becoming harder and harder since he's learned to move). Our trip started off hot and sticky, and not much fun. We got some pictures quick, Logan got a few tastes of the dirt, discovered he didn't like the feeling of mud, and we started to head back to the car.

I did find that the park has a ton of awesome places to do future photo shoots when its less than one-hundred degrees out. It also has an awesome place to let LJ run around and play in fountains when he is older.

On the way back to the car, our prayers for cooler weather were answered with rain.. and lots of it. It was hilarious! Luckily the babies didn't mind since the strollers covered them. And somehow, my white shorts didn't get soaked enough to see through them. It was an awesome trip.

PS. I thought Logan was staying dry, until I got to the car, and went to get him out. He was soaked, and looked oh-so-cute!
