one of those things

Tonight, before bed, I walked Logan into his room, held him close, and started rocking him in my arms. For some reason the Barney song (you know the one, "I love you, you love me...." yeah, that one) popped into my head, and so I started singing it. He must have liked it, because he laid his head on my shoulder, and started bouncing his foot to the song. It was so comfortable and sweet that I just kept singing the song because I didn't want to stop.

It's moments like those that I feel so lucky. It makes the rest of the day that he acted like a heathen not even matter anymore.

With all the crazy things going on, like the Boston bombings, and West Texas plant explosion, I hope that everyone really takes the time to be nicer to people, and to enjoy their family. I also hope that people quit taking the little things for-granted, like being able to rock your baby to sleep. You really never do know if it will be the last time, and even though its sad, its the truth.

I just want my baby boy, fiance, and all my family and friends to know how much each of the means to me, and that I love them dearly. I can't imagine going through something so tragic, and I pray that I never have to.
